About Me

I was born in Chicago, Illinois 44 years ago. I am a proud parent of two and proud Nana of one. I am also a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving 10 honorable years, which made me into the leader I am today. I have retained that go-getter perspective when I am faced with difficult projects—I know how to motivate myself and my team to get the job done. I am seeking a leadership position involving planning and communicating strategic vision and objectives; assigning tasks and responsibilities; setting priorities; monitoring and evaluating performance; and coaching and developing employee capabilities that will allow professional growth. I desire to align my career path with my education and training while capitalizing on my experience. On a personal note, it is very important to me to leave a positive impact with every person I interact with, whether an entry-level employee, an executive, or a customer. I always take the time to utilize teachable moments, extend kindness, and use my time to better myself and others. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, volunteering in various community activities/associations, motorcycle riding, physical fitness, traveling, and an occasional golf game.
